How do we get our administrator to authorize the reading of our tools?

In two lines #

Your readout begins when the administrator of your Microsoft 365 tenant has given consent. From your workspace, you send them a consent link and a ready-made email: Ojja does not write to them.

The steps #

  1. Log in to your workspace, then open “Connections and access”, at the bottom of the menu.
  2. In the “Ask my admin” block, click “Prepare a link for your admin”. The link stays the same for seven days; after that date, the page gives you a new one.
  3. Send it: “Copy the link”, or “Open the ready-made email for your admin”. The email carries the requested permissions, as the published manifest presents them, and the consent link.
  4. Your administrator reviews the requested permissions and gives consent on the Microsoft screen. No write permission is requested. (See Give consent, for the tenant administrator.)
  5. Ojja checks the permissions, reads your tools, then writes to you that your readout is ready. It is read in your workspace, under “Documents”, then “Your readout”.

Good to know:

  • Only the workspace owner and administration prepare the link for the admin.
  • Have you just opened your workspace online? The “Your workspace is open” page gives the same consent link and the ready-made email, for your internal team or for your managed service provider.
  • Are you the tenant administrator yourself? Once the link is prepared, open the consent screen yourself: “Open Microsoft's consent screen”.
  • On Google Workspace: we take your request now, and we get back to you as soon as Google reading opens.

On the Arvenne example #

At Arvenne, a fictional company of 412 Microsoft 365 accounts, once consent is given, the readout is dated October 5, 2026.

What Ojja does not do #

You choose whom to send the ready-made email to: Ojja never writes to your administrator.

The method #

Reading: the directory for breadth, the vendor for depth; the list of permissions: /en/readout#autorisations.
