Renew software that has added AI, knowing what changed.

Since you signed, the vendor may have added AI features, turned some on by default, changed its terms or its model. Ojja shows you before the notice period, with its published terms and their documents.

The question

“This software renews in three months. What changed on the AI side since we signed?” Since the signature, the vendor may have added an assistant, turned it on by default, published AI terms that an administrator accepts with one click in the product. These changes are often discovered after the renewal.

Their questions, in their words:

  • What has the vendor added or turned on by default since we signed?
  • Are its AI terms accepted with one click in the product, and by whom?
  • Do our prompts and the responses count as our data under its terms?

Ojja does not answer for you. It gives you the facts to answer.

What Ojja shows you

  1. Since you signed. Ninety days before a renewal, everything that changed on the AI side since the date of your contract: features added or turned on by default, terms, model, price, usage billing.
  2. The published terms, edition by edition. Whether AI terms are accepted with one click in the product, and by whom (an administrator or a user); whether prompts, responses and your feedback count as customer data; whether turning a feature off stops training and allows deletion; whether a model change is announced in advance; the intellectual property indemnity on outputs, and its conditions (a setting to turn on, for example). Each fact with its document.
  3. Declared or committed by contract. For each fact, what the vendor announces on its page, and what it writes in its DPA, an AI addendum or its terms.
  4. What sits idle, before the notice period. Seats paid for with no use over 28 days, including on deactivated accounts, with the date they can be reclaimed.
  5. The renewal sheet, with Ojja Watch: per commitment, what sits idle, what changed on the AI side, and the decision to make before the notice period.

Ojja reads the documents the vendor publishes, never your contract: your negotiated contract may differ.

Fictional example

A company renews software in ninety days. Since it signed, the vendor has added an assistant, turned on by default, and published AI terms that an administrator accepts with one click, in the product. Under these published terms, prompts and responses do not count as customer data, and turning the feature off does not stop training. Each fact cites its document, with the date it was read. The company prepares its renewal with these facts; its negotiated contract may differ.
