How do we record a decision on a feature?
In two lines #
Open the feature's fact sheet, choose the verb in the “Decision” block, give a reason, then save. Each decision carries its author, its date and its reason; the register keeps the history.
The steps #
- In “The register”, click “Open” at the end of the line; or, in “To handle”, click “Decide”. The fact sheet opens on its “Decision” block.
- Under “Change the decision”, choose the verb: adopt, regularize, reclaim, turn off or consolidate.
- “Reason”: cost, exposure, duplicate, effect on people, accepted risk, other reason.
- “Review date, required for an accepted risk”: the line returns to “To handle” on that date.
- “Details”: your reason, in a few words.
- Click the save button, at the bottom of the “Decision” block.
- Your administrator applies the decision in the tool; the next snapshot records it.
The “Decision” block then shows the current decision, its date, the role of its author and its reason. To change it, repeat steps 2 to 6. The history is read in “Log of this feature”.
Deciding is reserved to the workspace owner, workspace administration and the AI lead; a reader reads, they do not decide.
On the Arvenne example #
On the Arvenne example, the two decisions of the week are dated October 7, 2026 and carry the role of their author, the AI lead.
