Where do we start each week?

In two lines #

With “To handle”: the features with no decision, no owner, and the accepted risks that return on their review date. The number next to the menu entry says how many features are left to decide.

The steps #

  1. In the menu, “Decide” group, open “To handle”.
  2. “Quick filters”: “All”, “New this week”, “Employee data”, “Enabled by the vendor”; “More filters” for the vendor, the usage family, the data and the origin.
  3. “New since the previous snapshot”: what has arrived since last week.
  4. “Activation circuit”: each pending novelty, with the “Deadline to defer it in the vendor's console”.
  5. “Still to handle”: the rest.
  6. “Accepted risks to review”: the decisions that return on their review date.
  7. On each line, “Decide” opens the fact sheet on its “Decision” block (see Record a decision).

In “The register”, the “This week” view sorts the features by alert, with the “Decision” layer.

On the Arvenne example #

On the Arvenne example, what is left to decide goes from 12 to 10 in one week, after two decisions.
