What is your feed, and how does it differ from the public feed?
In two lines #
The public feed, free of charge, gives you the vendors' announcements every week, with their tags and their source. Your feed is the same stream, filtered on your company's software, with what is left to decide.
The steps #
- In the menu, “What's moving” group, open “Your feed”. The number next to it counts the alerts since the snapshot.
- “Your feed for …” is read in three parts: “Vendors”, “Declarations and requests”, “Left to decide” (with “Handle them”).
- Each announcement gives its title, the tool concerned, “Published on …, effective on …”, and its source.
- Each announcement carries its type: activation by default, usage billing by default, model change, vendor terms changed.
- The “Today's alerts” block is separate (see The five alerts).
- Every week, an email “Your feed for …” gives the number of announcements and the number that concern you, with the link “Read it in your workspace”; no tool name, no figure from your company.
On the Arvenne example #
On the Arvenne example, the first feed counts 40 announcements from the vendors in the week, one of which concerns it: “Meeting recaps enabled by default in Teams”.
