How do I invite readers to our workspace?
In two lines #
The owner, the administrator and the AI lead invite from “Connections and access”: the AI lead invites readers only. Your lawyer, your external DPO or your accountant read on your invitation and sign in with a link received by email, without a password. With Ojja Watch, readers are free and unlimited.
The steps #
- Open “Connections and access”, then the “Invite to the workspace” form.
- Enter the person's address and choose the role (reader by default). You can also choose an opening view, the one the person sees first; with no choice, no particular view.
- Click “Invite”. The person receives an email from your company: it carries a link to the workspace, never a tool name or a figure.
- They open the link, ask for their sign-in link (valid for fifteen minutes) and enter the workspace with the role you chose.
- If the email did not go out, the page says so: the invitation stays recorded and the person can ask for their sign-in link on the sign-in page.
Who invites which role: the owner invites all four roles (owner, administrator, AI lead, reader); the administrator invites every role except owner; the AI lead invites readers only; a reader invites no one. A partner invited to your workspace is a reader like any other.
The limits: with the free readout, the workspace admits two readers; with Ojja Watch, readers are unlimited. A workspace sends at most twenty invitations a day. An address already in the workspace is not invited twice. Invitations do not exist in the demonstration workspace.
See the members and remove access #
“Workspace members” lists one line per account: the name, the address and the role of people who have already signed in, and “Invitation pending” for those who have not yet opened their link. The owner and the administrator see a “Remove” button on each line. Once removed, the person no longer enters the workspace, even with a new link; you can invite them again later.
Two removals are refused: the administrator does not remove an owner, and your own account is not removed here.
What an invitation keeps #
The address of a signed-in person comes from the sign-in store. For a pending invitation, the address is kept in the invitation alone, until the person's first sign-in or thirty days at most, then erased: the account then remains, without an address. The workspace log never writes an address, only a fingerprint.
On the Arvenne example #
The Arvenne example is a demonstration on fictional data: no one is invited there.
What Ojja does not do #
A reader reads what their role shows; they do not decide, declare or designate anyone. No role sees a person's usage: usage is read by tool, never by person.
