Connect Claude to HubSpot
What Claude and HubSpot document about their connection: what it does, what it takes to turn it on, what it costs and the data that passes from one to the other. Each fact with its source at the vendor and its date.
What the connection does
- What it does. The connection brings HubSpot context into Claude (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- The direction. In both directions.
- The mode. Through an integration offered by the vendor.
What it takes to turn it on
- The editions or licenses required. The connection works at all HubSpot tiers; a paid Anthropic subscription (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) is required; some capabilities need specific HubSpot hubs (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- What it costs on top, or how it is billed. Installation is free; it needs a HubSpot account (any tier, including Free) and a paid Anthropic subscription (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise); some capabilities (campaign management, landing page creation) need specific paid HubSpot hubs (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- Who turns it on. In Claude's settings, one opens the integrations section on the left, clicks Browse, searches for and selects HubSpot, then clicks Connect (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- The prerequisites. Super Admins and users with App Marketplace access can connect without prior approval; for everyone else, a Super Admin must approve first (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
The data that flows
- What passes. The connection can create and update CRM records in HubSpot and log activities there; it can also access and analyze the full engagement history of HubSpot records (emails, calls, meetings, notes, tasks) (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- Whether the source tool's permissions are respected. The connection automatically respects the user permissions set in HubSpot: each person only sees in Claude the CRM data they can access in HubSpot (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- Where the data is processed. Requests go through HubSpot servers in the account's data center (for example the EU HubSpot data center for an account hosted in the EU); once the data is with Anthropic, the terms agreed with Anthropic govern where and how it is processed (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- Training. Anthropic does not use data shared through HubSpot to train its models, except in particular cases, for example when a customer chooses to give feedback or opts in to training (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
- Retention. Once data is shared with Claude, Anthropic's terms apply; the page points to Anthropic's Trust Center to find out whether data is kept and for how long, without giving a duration (according to HubSpot's documentation, read on 10/17/2026).
With Ojja
Ojja tells you whether you already pay for both tools, whether the connection is turned on in your company, who uses it, and the usage before and after: it is the “Connect” lever of what your tools can already do.
What Ojja never does
- Ojja does not advise you to choose a vendor: it records what each one documents.
- Ojja does not say whether a use is permitted: it gives the facts, and the points to review with your counsel.
Ojja does not provide legal advice: it records and documents; how the law applies to your situation is for your counsel to determine.
