How do I read the Ojja demo?
In two lines #
The demo opens your own workspace, with Groupe Arvenne, a fictional company. It starts with what Arvenne pays without usage, and each figure has its explanation under “Why this figure?”.
The steps #
- On demo.ojja.ai/essayer, enter your work address and choose “Receive the link”. There is nothing else to fill in, and nothing to ask your administrator.
- Open the link in the email: your workspace opens on Arvenne's register. It lasts 24 hours from its creation, then it is deleted; you can then open a new one.
- At the top of the register, the “Paid without usage” block gives an amount per year, then the number of seats without usage out of the measured seats, and the list of paid functions with seats without usage. The amount is the sum of these lines.
- Under this list, “Other paid functions, not in this total” shows a few telling cases. They are not added to the amount.
- Next to a figure, choose “Why this figure?”; on a tag such as “To decide”, “Regularized” or “depends on a setting”, choose the tag itself. The explanation opens on click, on touch or from the keyboard, never on hover: it says where the figure comes from and how it is calculated. For instance, a seat is without usage when the account holding it has no activity read in the tool over the last 28 days. The explanations are on the register, on a function's sheet and in “To handle”.
- In the default order of the register as in “To handle”, the lines with no recorded decision and no consequence read (no amount, no data outside the EU, no training, no application connected by an employee, no activation by the vendor) come after the others.
- In the menu, “My clients” lists the four workspaces of your demo: Arvenne, the all-Microsoft scenario and two fictional clients. Choose “Open” on the all-Microsoft scenario; you are a reader there.
- The all-Microsoft scenario shows applications authorized by employees, functions whose value depends on an administrator setting (“depends on a setting”, with the condition and its dated source at the vendor), paid Copilot seats, part of them without usage, and a function billed by usage.
- It gives two amounts, side by side: “Licence cost”, per year, and “Usage cost”, over the period read. They do not add up: one is a price per year, the other a spend read over a period.
What Ojja does not do #
The demo's figures are fictional: no real data is read there. When it is reset, your workspace starts again from the Arvenne example as on the first day, and the decisions and additions made since then disappear. An explanation says where a figure comes from; it never says which decision to take.
