- Typical process: a new employee
A new employee, from hiring to the first month: where the process breaks between your tools.
The six steps of an arrival, the tools they usually go through, and the probable links: the ones that, once fixed, unblock several steps at once.
The process, step by step
- The hiring. It is entered in the human resources software (HRIS).
- The account. IT creates the employee’s account.
- The licenses. The tools paid per seat are assigned.
- The access. The folders, applications and rights of the team are opened.
- The training. The employee follows the sessions planned for the role.
- The first month. The manager reviews progress, and access is adjusted.
The probable links
These links are deduced: what this type of process usually produces between tools. They say nothing about your company until your readout has compared them with your actual tools.
- Missing integration. The account is created by hand from the HRIS, instead of following the hiring.
- Missing decision. An AI assistant license is assigned with no training attached to the role.
- Missing rule. The employee does not know which AI tools are authorized for them.
What the text asks, in general
The framework the catalog links to the features concerned: Article 4 of the European regulation on artificial intelligence, on AI literacy, with the points to review with your counsel.
